At least ten people have been killed and three injured in a road accident in Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh in the wee hours today.
The incident took place near Mirzamurad on the Mirzapur-Varanasi border when a truck collided with a tractor trolley. SP Mirzapur, Abhinandan, informed us that the tractor trolley, which was carrying 13 labourers, was hit by the truck from behind. The injured have been admitted to hospitals. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed officials to take care of their treatment. MP from Mirzapur, Union Minister Anupriya Patel, has expressed deep sorrow over the incident.
