PM Narendra Modi connected with the people of India through Mann Ki Baat: Gulab Chand Kataria
Eminent people from various fields witnessed the special screening organised by Ministry of I&B
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio broadcast ‘Mann Ki Baat’ completed its 100th episode today. The Raj Bhavan at Guwahati screened the 100th episode of “Mann ki Baat” where eminent people from various fields of Assam witnessed the special screening. Media Units in Guwahati under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in collaboration with the Raj Bhavan organised the special screening of the popular radio programme.
Governor of Assam Shri Gulab Chand Kataria graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Shri Kataria in his address said that PM Narendra Modi connected with the people of India through Mann Ki Baat and it played a role in reshaping the mind-set of the people for the new India and it reflects the behavioural change of the people as well as the society, he said.
The Governor asserted that our PM choose Radio as a medium of communication to reach to the people who are in remote areas of the country. And Mann Ki Baat has become one of the most popular programs in the radio. The Governor further added that PM Modi has a unique connection with the youth of the country and in his Mann Ki Baat, speeches has encouraged them.
In his address Shri Kataria said that Mann Ki Baat has emerged as an effective tool of mass movement catalysing social movements involving communities across the country, like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Covid Vaccination and Har Ghar Tiranga are the example of this.
Deputy Speaker of Assam, Dr. Numal Momin, Additional Chief Secretary of Assam, Shri Maninder Singh, Director General of NE zone, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Shri B Narayanan, State Information Commissioner, Shri Samudra Gupta Kashyap, Special DGP, Assam, Shri Harmeet Singh, senior officials of Ministry of I&B attended the special screening at Raj Bhavan today.
