Guwahati, August 17 (NKTV): As informed by Assam Health Minister Keshab Mahanta on Tuesday, altogether 11 per cent of the eligible population in Assam has so far received both doses of Covid-19 vaccine.
Mahanta also said that adequate stock of vaccines is available in the state.
He urged the people to come forward for their jab.
“As of today, 1.18 crore people have received their first dose of vaccine, while 25.21 lakh have taken their second dose also”.
“51 per cent have taken the first dose and 11 per cent have received both the doses” he added.
