2nd Deo Hah All India Karate championship concludes
The second edition of Deo Hah (White-Winged Wood Duck) All-India Karate Championship organised by Unified Karate Guild at the Nabin Chandra Bordoloi Indoor Stadium, Sarusajai Sports Complex, Guwahati, concluded on Sunday.
Krishna Sharma, Riyasmita Das, Pritam Das, Nabankur Bayan, Shyamalima Das, Unicy Das, Tanvir Kashyap Sharma, Aaradhya Das, Nihal Kumar, Baishnabi Rahang, Mugdha Patar, Priyanakhi Deka, Jessica Sarma, Kavyam Kashyap,, Niharika Das, Kabyanil Phukan, Namrata Ray, Kaustav Majumdar, Sabirah Tasneem, Anghuman Sarmah, Tanjin Majumdar, Nabadya Nivedan Gogoi, Alia Saikia and Himanshu Borah won the Champions of the Champion award in the championship.
About 2500 participants from across the country participated in this competition organized with the objective of preserving and promoting Deo Hah, the state bird of Assam. The total prize money for the competition was worth Rs 10 lakh.
