59 Black Softshell Turtles released into Chandubi Beel

59 black softshell turtles were released into Chandubi Beel by the Environment & Forest Minister of Assam Parimal Suklabaidya & MLA Shri Hemanga Thakuria Assam on the occasion of World Wetlands Day today.

The endangered softshell turtles were nurtured by an NGO Turtle Survival Alliance in collaboration with Assam Forests & Environment Department.
