700 new Covid cases in Assam, 11 more deaths
Guwahati, August 24 (NKTV): Assam on Monday reported 700 new positive cases of Covid-19 on Monday, taking the overall caseload in the state to 5,85,134. 11 deaths were also reported from across the state.
The state presently has 6,648 active cases.
Of the 700 new cases, Kamrup (Metro) reported the highest (165) followed by Golaghat (47), Sivasagar (39), and Dibrugarh (38).
Recovery rate of the state at present is 97.68 per cent.
