Guwahati, August 04 (NKTV): The state of Mizoram reported 885 new Covid-19 cases, including 178 children, pushing the tally to 40,996, informed the Health Department of the state today. The death toll rose to 156 as three more persons succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours.
Of the new cases, Aizawl reported the highest cases at 613, followed by Kolasib (125) and Lunglei district (65). Positivity rate stood at 9.65 per cent.
Mizoram presently has 12,663 active Covid-19 cases.
