The 8th Rashmi Bala Tamuli “B”Division Cricket League 2023-24 organised by Guwahati Sports Association kickstarted today at Nehru Stadium, Guwahati.
In the 1st Match
Legends Sporting Club defeated Chandmari Sports Club by 9 wickets
In the 2nd Match
Nabarang Club defeated Navajyoti Cricket Club by 94 runs
Earlier in the morning, Sushanta Biswa Sarma Former Cricketer Assam and President Volley ball Association and Ganesh Tamuli, Chairman North East Cancer Hospital and Research Centre and Eminent Sports Organiser was present as Chief Guest and Special Guest respectively and both of them were introduced to players of both the team. Sarma gave best wishes to both the team and inaugurated the tournament.
Paresh Chandra Das President GSA, Bhola Boro Vice -President GSA, Badal Dey Vice-President GSA, Amiya Kumar Kalita Treasurer GSA, Kajal Paul Choudhary Joint Secretary GSA and Nasir Gul Khan Sports Secretary Cricket GSA were present in the opening ceremony.
