Ash Barty clinches Australian Open Women’s singles title

In a historic feet, current world number one women tennis player Ash Barty has become the first Australian woman to win the Australian Open singles’ title in 44 years. In a terrific final match, the 25-year-old defeated her counterpart Danielle Collins of USA by 6-3, 7-6(7-2).

With this win, Australia’s Ash Barty has won three Grand Slam singles’ titles, including French Open (2019) and Wimbledon (2021).
