Heavy incessant rain & cyclone flooded the Naharlagun & Jullang area of the Arunachal capital Itanagar, creating havoc amid the public and city dwellers. Walls of few homes were broken due to minor landslides created by heavy rain & flooded water which damaging properties.
Incessant rain for the past couple of days has thrown life out of gear in Arunachal Pradesh with several districts witnessing landslides and a flood-like situation. The Meteorological department has predicted moderate to heavy rainfall in few coming days.
Torrential rain triggered landslides in various places of Itanagar where commuters are facing a tough time while travelling through four lane National highway completed recently. Anjaw district of Arunachal is completely cut off due to collapse of bridge.
