Don Bosco School ,Guwahati will host the first All Assam Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament of the year from 7th-10th July ,2002 under the aegis of Assam Table Tennis Association and guidance of Guwahati Sports Association .
Around 450 participants from all districts like Nagaon , Dibrugarh , North Lakhimpur , Jorhat , Mongoldoi , Tezpur ,Sibsagar,Silchar ,Namrup ,Duliajan ,Golaghat ,Guwahati along with the institutions like Oil India ltd and NF Railway will participate in this championships .All internationals and national ranked players of Assam will also participate in this Tournament .
There will be 12 categories of events namely Hopes Under 11 girls and boys , Cadet Under 13 girls and boys , Sub junior Under 15 girls and boys , Junior 17 boys and girls , Youth 19 boys and girls , Mens and Womens.
