The 10th anniversary celebration of the First successful Summit on Mt. Everest from Assam shall again be celebrated as Axom Everest Day 2023, on 18th May with day long activities in Guwahati. The day shall start with a Mass Jogging in the morning at 6 AM from Dighalipukhuri, Opposite District Library to Assam Engineering Institute playground, Chandmari and shall conclude with a Commemorate Meeting with the Assamese Everesters at 4 PM at Guwahati Town Club Auditorium, Panbazar.
Padmashree Ms. Anshu Jamsenpa, 5 times Everester from Arunachal Pradesh and Elvis Ali Hajarika, the International swimmer from Assam shall join the team during Mass Jogging in the morning, to grace the occasion.
