Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that his government would implement UCC after the Lok Sabha polls. Talking to newspersons in Guwahati yesterday, the senior BJP leader also said that necessary measures are also being taken to stop polygamy in the State.
The Chief Minister said that the NDA would show good performance in the Lok Sabha polls in the State.
