BJP today held a protest in New Delhi continuing with its demand for the resignation of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over alleged liquor scam. Party workers led by Delhi BJP Chief Virendra Sachdeva raised slogans in support of their demand. Mr. Sachdeva told media that after the rejection of his plea on liquor scam by Delhi High Court yesterday, Mr. Kejriwal has no right to continue as the Chief Minister and he should resign immediately. He also listed alleged irregularities in Delhi Jal Board and city’s education department to target Mr. Kejriwal.
Meanwhile, Mr. Kejriwal has moved the Supreme Court against the Delhi High Court’s order rejecting his plea in which the Chief Minister had challenged his arrest in Delhi’s liquor policy case. AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj said they are optimistic that they will get justice from the Apex Court.
