Seminar and Free Health Camp on Urological Diseases and Cancer awareness held in Guwahati

Bharat Vikas Parishad in association with Power Grid Corporation of India, with Sayantika as associate partner organized a health camp along with a free health check up on Urological Diseases and Cancer awareness at Bharat Vikas Parishad SEWA KENDRA Bishnupur Guwahati.

Laser Man of India Dr Arup Kumar Nath of IUKD HOSPITAL SONAPUR graced the occasion. Chief guest of the event Sri Homeshwar Kalita Ex Principal Guwahati commerce college & K C Das college was present on the occassion.

“Urological problems related to cancer are a significant health concern, particularly as delays in diagnosis and treatment can lead to worse outcomes. Recent studies highlight alarming trends in the management of urological cancers during the COVID 19 pandemic. Our main focus has always been in early diagnosis of cancer which is the key factor in its treatment.” said Dr Arup Kumar Nath.

On the occasion Chandrima Sen organiser of the event said, “ We are glad to conduct a seminar on Urological Diseases and Cancer awareness here in the city, the rise in Cancer and Urological Diseases post pandemic is the reason where we thought there should be an awareness camp which will help many families directly or indirectly.”
