Indian pair clinch Bronze in ISSF Junior World Championship

In Shooting, the Indian pair of Gautami Bhanot and Ajay Malik clinched Bronze after defeating Croatia 17-9 in the Air Rifle mixed event in the ISSF Junior World Championship in Lima, Peru yesterday. In the same event, China defeated France to win gold.

In the Air Pistol mixed event, India’s Lakshita and Pramod defeated Kanishka Dagar and Mukesh Nellavani 16-8 to win another Bronze in the tally. Germany won the gold medal, while Ukraine settled for a silver.

With this, India retained its top spot in the ISSF Junior World Championship. India has a total of five medals, two Gold and three Bronze.
