Over 70 People killed in Israeli attack at Beit Lahiya in North Gaza

Over 70 people are reported killed in an Israeli attack at Beit Lahiya in the northern part of Gaza. It is feared that many more people may be trapped beneath the rubble. According to Gaza’s Government Media Office the death toll is expected to increase as rescue operations are underway.

The northern region of Gaza is facing a severe crisis due to a 16-day Israeli military siege, which has cut off access to vital services such as food, water, and medical supplies in the area.

However the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have questioned Hamas’ claim of over 70 casualties and described the number as exaggerated.
