Football 4 Change Academy to lock horns with BBFS Shillong in regional final of Guwahati leg

Football 4 Change Academy defeated Kasa Football Coaching Center 1-0 and registered a place in the final of Dream Sports Championship in Guwahati on Wednesday. The first half of the fixture ended with a score line of 0-0 while a major part of the second half also saw no names on the scoresheet.

It was in the 85th minute when midfielder Lunkhongam Chongloi, who had come on as a substitute, scored the only goal of the match. His strike put his side in front and ultimately secured the win for them.

BBFS Shillong moved into the final of the U-17 Football Tournament after clinching a 2-1 win against Luit Football Academy. BBFS took a 1-0 lead in the game after Milli Putum scored the first goal in the 24th minute. But Lalthasanga hit the equaliser in the 30th minute as the first half ended at 1-1. BBFS Shillong finally took the lead in the 72nd minute, courtesy a strike from Vanlalpekdika Chhakchhuak to eventually scalp a victory.

The BBFS Shillong will now be taking on Football 4 Change Academy in the regional final on Friday, February 14, at the IIT Guwahati.
