Amarnath Yatra cancelled due to Covid

Guwahati, June 21 (NKTV): In view of the present Covid-19 situation, the administration of Jammu and Kashmir had decided to cancel the Amarnath Yatra this year.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has directed officials to make arrangements for devotees can virtually attend the morning and evening aartis at the shrine, allowing devotees to pay obeisance while avoiding physical travel.

Sinha said that all traditional religious rituals shall be performed at the shrine according to past practice.
