Guwahati, June 23 (NKTV): The Russian Gamaleya Institute head Alexander Gintsburg, who led in development of the Sputnik V Covid-19 vaccine has claimed that the Russian made vaccine vaccine can protect against all variants of the virus.
Alexander Gintsburg said “Antibodies developed after vaccination with [SputnikV] protect from all variants of [COVID-19] known today, starting from the UK variant to the so-called Delta variant, first detected in India.”
He further said that Sputnik V is more efficient against the Delta variant of coronavirus first detected in India, than any other vaccine that published results on this strain so far.
