Key decisions of July 07 Cabinet Meeting here
Guwahati, July 7 (NKTV): The Government of Assam’s Cabinet Meeting on Wednesday led to some major decisions.
The decisions are as follows:
- All government functions shall start with the State Song and conclude with the National Anthem.
- Hand-woven Gamosas will be used in government functions and programmes.
- Regional food shall be served at all government programmes.
- Death anniversary of Tarun Ram Phukan will be observed as ‘Desh Bhakta Divas’.
- Death anniversary of Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi will be observed as ‘Workers Day’.
- Guardian Ministers, of the districts declared as Containment Zones, shall stay in their respective districts for three days.
- TET qualification certificate shall be valid for lifetime.
- Salaries of government employees shall be deducted if NOC is not provided regarding payment of electricity bill.
