Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) defeated the Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 5 wickets in an interesting match of the ongoing Indian Premier League on Monday.
Winning the toss, KKR skipper Eoin Morgan chooses to bowl first. Having to take up batting in the first inning, PKBS could only managed to score 123 runs 20 overs. For PKBS, Mayank Agarwal scored 31 runs and Chris Jordan scored 30 runs at the end. Indian pacer Prasidh Krishna took highest 3 wickets for KKR.
Chasing a target of 124, the captain of KKR, Eoin Morgan played a splendid innings of 47 runs which helped the team to gain victory over PKBS. With this win, KKR has reached to the fifth spot of the points table with 4 points. Eoin Morgan for his innings won the man of the match title.
