Guwahati, August 23 (NKTV): A team of Assam Police yesterday seized 250 cartons of Codeine Phosphate cough syrup at Churaibari area in Karimganj district along the Assam-Tripura border.
The police intercepted a truck during routine checking and recovered the bottles of cough syrup.
The seized consignment is worth over two crore rupees, informed officials. A case has been registered against the driver of the truck.
