Over 1.33 lakh people affected in Assam flood!
Guwahati, August 28 (NKTV): As reported by the Assam State Disaster Management Authority, as many as 1,33,078 people have been affected in 11 districts across Assam as the flood situation worsens in the state. Till Friday, 7,584 hectares of crop areas have been inundated, informed officials.
It may be mentioned here that more than 39,000 children have been affected in this wave of flood.
25 relief camps and 49 relief distribution centres have been opened across the 11 districts for the flood affected.
No loss of human lives have been reported.
