Guwahati, September 10 (NKTV): A three-day camping festival began today at the Chakrashila Wildlife Sanctuary at Jornagra village in Kokrajhar.
Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) Chief Executive Member (CEM) Pramod Boro ceremonially inaugurated the festival in presence of BTR executive members Ranjit Basumatary and Dharma Narayan Das.
The festival is organised by Bodoland Tourism in association with Nature’s Beckon to explore the tourism hotspots across the BTR districts. The festival aims to highlight several activities including bird watching, jungle trekking, night trekking, cultural activities and nature conservation training across the region.
Pramod Boro said that the festival will be extending support towards exploring the tourism aspects to gain up activities of visitors.
