Guwahati, September 11 (NKTV): The flood situation in Assam improved further on Friday with the number of affected people as well as the number of districts hit by it came down further, informed the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA).
Presently 5,369 people are affected across the state in five districts while no more casualty has been reported. 121 villages are presently inundated.
One relief camp sheltering 314 people is still functional in Chirang district.
As per a CWC bulletin, Jia Bharali is flowing above the danger level in Sonitpur.
