The ACA Stadium in Guwahati witnessed two thrilling IPL matches, marking another significant milestone in Assam’s cricketing journey. As the successful hosting of these matches concludes, the Assam Cricket Association (ACA) has extended its heartfelt gratitude to all who contributed to making the event a grand success.
On behalf of the ACA, President Taranga Gogoi and Secretary Tridib Konwar expressed their sincere appreciation to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, and the Honorary Secretary of the BCCI, Devajit Saikia, for their steadfast support, encouragement, and guidance in bringing world-class cricket to Assam.
“We are immensely grateful to the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, and BCCI Honorary Secretary, Devajit Saikia, for their unwavering support. Their vision and dedication have been instrumental in making Assam a cricketing hub,” said ACA President Taranga Gogoi.
ACA Secretary Tridib Konwar also extended his gratitude, stating, “The success of these matches is a testament to the collaborative efforts of all involved. We deeply appreciate the relentless efforts of our groundsmen, the enthusiasm of the cricketing fraternity and the commitment of all stakeholders.”
A special note of thanks was extended to the Government of Assam and its various departments, whose dedicated efforts made the event possible. The ACA expressed sincere gratitude to Assam Police, the Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC), the Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA), Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL), the Public Works Department (PWD), the Public Health Engineering Department (PHE), Fire & Emergency Services, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), and all other stakeholders who worked diligently behind the scenes. Their coordination and commitment ensured the seamless execution of every aspect of the matches.
The ACA also thanked Rajasthan Royals for choosing Guwahati as their second home and acknowledged the media fraternity for their extensive coverage, which played a crucial role in bringing the excitement of the matches to a wider audience.
