Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Ajay Mishra has been granted bail by the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court on Thursday. Ashish Mishra was serving in jail for allegedly running over farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh.
Following the incident, Ashish Mishra was arrested in October 2021. The incident took life of four farmers and a journalist was also killed in the case.
