Ajmal Foundation donates Rs 58 lakh to CM Relief Fund, Gaurav Gogoi raises question
Guwahati, June 05 (NKTV): Ajmal Foundation yesterday donated Rs 58 lakh while Ajmal Perfumes donated Rs 25 lakh toward the CM Relief Fund to strengthen the Covid-19 vaccination campaign in the state.
While CM Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma offered his gratitude towards Ajmal Foundation and Ajmal Perfumes for their act of generosity, Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi has raised questions on the same. “Is this the same foundation against which state BJP had previously demanded a CBI probe for alleged links to illegal donations?” Gogoi stated in a Twitter post.
