Guwahati, August 21 (NKTV): Assam Health Minister Keshab Mahanta today said that the government has aimed to vaccinate 100 per cent of Guwahati’s residents by August 31.
Addressing media persons, Mahanta said that “We will start the vaccination drive for those who have not taken a single dose till now, from August 25”. “If needed, we will extend the vaccination drive beyond August 31” he added.
The Health Department of Assam also launched a helpline number – 8929103776. Citizens of Guwahati can give a missed call at the number to avail information regarding availability of the vaccines in nearby vaccine centres.
