Guwahati, July 6 (NKTV): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday filed another chargesheet against peasant leader and Sivasagar MLA Akhil Gogoi at Gauhati High Court.
Reportedly, NIA has challenged the verdict on Akhil Gogoi’s release by the NIA Court on July 01.
The chargesheet has been filed regarding the Chabua and Chandmari cases against Akhil Gogoi.
It may be mentioned here that Akhil Gogoi was acquitted by the NIA Court in the cases along with Dhajya Konwar, Manas Konwar and Bitu Sonowal.
