Antigua Government won’t accept Mehul Choksi back, likely to be extradited to India
After the fugitive diamond merchant and PNB fraud accused Mehul Choksi was arrested in Dominica, the Antigua and Barbuda Prime Minister Gaston Browne have refused to get him back in his country and have asked the Dominican government to extradite him back to India.
The Prime Minister said “We will not accept him back, he may have entered Dominica illegally, possibly by boat.” He further added. Gaston Browne also added “Dominican govt & law enforcement are cooperating, and we have informed Indian government to have him repatriated to India.”
