The Apollo Hospitals group likely to start administering Russian made Covid-19 vaccine ‘Sputnik V’ from second week of June. The executive vice-chairperson Shobana Kamineni said “the group has completed administering 10 lakh vaccine doses across 80 locations in India, prioritising frontline workers among others.”
She has further added that “We are looking to complete 2 crore jabs by the month of September.” Apollo group has over 80 Hospitals in various locations of the country.
Earlier the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) had approved the use of Russian Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine for emergency use.
