Arunachal Pradesh likely to get second Medical College

Guwahati, August 03 (NKTV): As informed by officials on Tuesday, the state of Arunachal Pradesh is likely to get its second medical college. It may be mentioned here that the Centre has assured to set up a medical college in the Namsai district.

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya gave the assurance when a team led by the state’s Health and Family Welfare Minister Alo Libang called on him in New Delhi on Monday.

Presently, Arunachal Pradesh has the Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS) at Naharlagun, near Itanagar.
