The TOPCEM-ASJA Media Sports Festival will get underway under the aegis of Assam Sports Journalists Association (ASJA) with the Inter-Media Table Tennis Championship at DTRP Indoor Stadium, RG Baruah Sports Complex, Guwahati on the 23rd of February, 2022.
The Festival will also include the Inter-Media Badminton Championship and the Inter-Media Chess Championship. Team (men only) and singles (men & women) events will be held in the tournament. While the Badminton Championship will be held on the 24th and 25th of February, 2022, the Chess Championship (open for both men and women) will be held on the 25th of February, 2022.
Participants will have to be completely (double) Covid-19 vaccinated and will have to abide by pandemic protocol. Persons symptomatic of Covid-19 will not be allowed to take part in any of the events. Participants might have to produce office Identity Card and authorization from respective offices in case of any arbitration during the tournaments. The Harendra Nath Baruah Inter-Media Football Tournament will be held along with the TOPCEM-ASJA Inter-Media Cricket Championship to be held at Nehru Stadium in the third week of March 2022.
