Assam: AJP files FIR against CM and former CM
Guwahati, August 22 (NKTV): The Assam Jatiya Parishad’s (AJP) central committee filed an FIR against top BJP leaders of Assam. AJP filed the FIR in Dispur Police Station against the BJP party for breaking Covid protocol in the ‘Jan Aashirvad Jatra’ on Saturday at Guwahati. In the FIR the AJP also accused chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma of fracturing the Covid protocol which his government had in taken in the state.
AJP also added Kamrup Metro DC Biswajit Pegu’s name in the FIR. The FIR also had names of Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Rameswar Teli, Kamakhya Prasad Tasa, Topon Kumar Gogoi, Dilip Saikia, Pallan Locan Das, Queen Oja, Bimal Borah, Jogen Mohon and Bhabesh Kalita.
