Assam Cash for Marks Scam | CM Sarma orders strict action against offenders
Guwahati, July 20 (NKTV): Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has asked the Education Department to take stern action against all offenders of the Cash for Marks scam.
This comes after Assam police arrested two people and detained seven others for alleged involvement in awarding higher scores to students appearing for Class 10 board exams this year in return of monetary benefits.
“None would be spared if found guilty” Sarma said.
The opposition has demanded a fair and stern enquiry into the matter.
