Guwahati, September 1 (NKTV): The Government of Assam today announced the new SOP for the state easing the curfew hours in all districts. Now, curfew shall be imposed from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
The new SOP has come as a relief for passengers as well as bus staff and owners as the state government has allowed the inter district movement of passenger vehicles.
As per the new SOP, inter district passenger transport with 100% seating capacity shall be allowed for passengers having at least a single dose of vaccine.
No standing passengers shall be allowed.
Night bus services have been allowed to operate as well amid curfew. However, hotels and dhabas are to be closed by 8:00 PM and buses cannot stop at hotels and dhabas after 8:00 PM.
