Guwahati, August 13 (NKTV): A 15-member team of the Assam Mountaineering Association on Thursday left for the ascent of Mount Jogin I, located at a height of 6,465 meters and Mount Jogin 3, at 6166 meters.
Mountaineering Association President Jayendra Rana informed that after a long break due to the pandemic, a 15 member team of Assam Mountaineering Association has reached Uttarkashi on Thursday.
With assistance from local trekking agency Mount High Wing and Garhwal Himalayan Trekking Mountaineering, this team will climb the two peaks in a span of 20 days.
Two guides, two HAPs and 40 Porters shall assist the team from Assam.
