In connection with circulation of a press release and a video clip issued by B. Bungtigwra claiming that a new armed organization in the name of National Liberation Front of Bodoland (NLFB) has been formed with an objective to form a separate state through armed and subversive means and a case has been registred.
As a part of investigation an operation was conducted by Chirang Police based on credible input and during the operation a key linkman, of NLFB namely Chandan Borgoyari has been apprehended.
The arrested linkman is a 37th Batch cadre of NDFB(S) & worked as OGW for NDFB(S) since 2008, he joined NDFB (S) in 2011 and surrendered in the year 2016. He has been arrested and follow up legal action is being taken. He was on the run since last 3 months to evade arrest and was arrested earlier in connection with Kokrajhar case.
