Assam Police arrest AIUDF aide for supporting Taliban in social media
Guwahati, August 21 (NKTV): The Assam Police has started strict actions against those who are posting in support of the Taliban through social media. Maulana Fazul Karim who updated a post in support of Taliban has been arrested by the Police in Darrang. According to reports, Maulana Fazul Karimwas in charge of the state committee of Jamiat Assam and was also the general secretary of AIUDF . Mangaldai police are currently continuing to interrogate Fajul Karim regarding the matter.
Meanwhile, a third year student MBBS of Tezpur Medical College, Nadeem Akhtar was also arrested by the Assam Police from his residence in Hailakandi district. Addressing the press, Assam Police has said that they has started an investigation into Nadeem Akhtar and initial investigation is going on.
