Guwahati, June 30 (NKTV): Assam on Tuesday reporte 2,672 new positive cases of Covid-19; the state also reported 27 deaths in the past 24 hours.
Assam presently has 25,692 active case, while the positivity rate for Tuesday stood at 2.64 per cent.
1,996 cured patients have been discharged on Tuesday.
Of the new cases detected, Golaghat reported the highest of 332 cases followed by Nagaon (199), Sonitpur (175) and Biswanath (172). Four deaths were reported from Tinsukia while three each were reported from Biswanath and Jorhat.
Death count of the state has reached 4,509 with a case fatality rate of 0.89 per cent, while the total recoveries have increased to 4,74,457 with a recovery rate of 93.77 per cent.
