Assam Swimming team gears up for National Games 2025 in Uttarakhand

The Assam swimming team is all set to make waves at the 38th National Games, scheduled to take place in Uttarakhand from January 28 to February 14, 2025. The swimming competition will be held at the prestigious Indira Gandhi International Stadium, Haldwani, from January 29 to February 4.

The team, led by coach Babul Gurung and manager Diksha Bora, comprises a strong lineup of talented swimmers ready to compete on the national stage. The men’s team includes Firmino Emon Lalung, Tirthank Pegu, Basit Ahmed, Bikram Changmai, and Jananjoy Jyoti, while the women’s team features Jahabi Kashyap, Astha Choudhury, Dibyashree Hazarika, and Subhranshini Priyadarshani. Additionally, Rupam Gogoi will represent the state in the diving category.
