Assam: VCAA donates over ₹2 Lakh towards CM’s relief fund
Guwahati, July 9 (NKTV): The officials of Veteran Cricket Association of Assam (VCAA) including Badal Thakur, Chief Adviser, VCAA; Naba Konwar, President, VCAA; Pranab Sharma, Working President, VCAA; Subrahjit Saikia Vice – President, Nasir Gul Khan and other officials met the Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma at Assam Administrative Staff Collegein Khanapara and handed over a cheque amounting to Rupees 2,38,600 as a donation to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, Assam to bolster the vaccination drive undertaken by the Assam Government against Covid-19.
It is to be noted that the donation amount was a result of the collective effort of the members of the sports fraternity of the State, who made handsome contributions to the noble cause.
