On the Occasion of Bohag Bihu , Lt Gen and Mrs RP Kalita with officers & ladies from the Assamese Defence Fraternity hosted a Bohag Bihu High Tea at the Narangi Officers Institute for all officers and ladies posted in Guwahati, on 14 April 2023.
The colourful event was resonant with the live performance of Bihu and a sumptuous layout of Traditional Assamese snacks. The General Officer while addressing the gathering mentioned about the unique nature of Bihu as a festival for all Assamese,. Gen Kalita also wished the people of Assam a very Happy New Year.
