Guwahati, June 04 (NKTV): Assam’s eminent sports personality of yesteryears, Prafulla Kumar Borkotoky, breathed his last at the Jorhat Medical College Hospital (JMCH) on Thursday. Prafulla Kumar Borkotoky was a former member of the state football and cricket teams.
Borkotoky was 83 at the time of his demise. According to sources, the eminent sportsman died of post Covid-19 complications. Borkotoky, was a retired employee of Oil & Natural Gas Commission (ONGC) and was a resident of Tarajan TRP Road. He leaves behind his wife, two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives.
