‘Baba Ka Dhaba’ owner attempts suicide, admitted to hospital
Guwahati, June 18 (NKTV): Kanta Prasad, the owner of ‘Baba Ka Dhaba’ attempted suicide on Thursday in Malviya Nagar of Delhi. Kanta Prasad was then admitted to a private hospital after attempting suicide. According to her wife, Prasad was mentally disturbed over their financial situation so he tried to die by suicide.
The 80-year-old couple had opened a restaurant in December 2020 after people raised funds following a viral video. He had closed the restaurant recently as the couple suffered serious financial instability due to the second wave of Covid-19
