Guwahati, August 11 (NKTV): The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has directed all banks and White Label ATM Operators (WLOAs) to ensure timely replenishment of cash in ATMs. If the same is not met, the banks shall face penalties.

This rule shall come to effect from October 01, 2021.

Banks will attract a penalty of ₹10,000 for the non-availability of cash in any ATM for more than 10 hours in a month.
