Guwahati, August 22 (NKTV): Assam is all set to roll out benefits under the One Nation One Ration Card (ONORC) scheme from August 23. Food, Civil Supply and Consumer Affairs Minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass informed that over 2.5 crore families would be benefited under the scheme.
Addressing media persons, the minister said that in order to receive food grains and other items under the scheme, the citizens need to link their ration cards with their Aadhaar.
He also informed that the state has achieved 100 per cent digitisation of ration cards.
