In Cricket, the much awaited Border-Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia is all set to begin tomorrow at Optus Stadium in Perth. The match will begin at 07:50 am IST. The Indian Men’s Team will play five test matches against the hosts between 22nd of November to 7th of January next year. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma will miss the first Test due to personal reasons. Jasprit Bumrah will lead the Indian squad in Rohit’s absence. Indian batsman Shubhman Gill will also miss the opening match due to thumb injury.
Addressing a press conference, Team India’s bowling coach Morne Morkel praised Jasprit Bumrah’s leadership skills by saying that in terms of how he looks at the game and approaches the game, he’s a natural leader for me.
